HOW DOES IT WORK?

Some of our friendly pet lambs and sheep are looking for their forever homes and others are looking for sponsors ... 

They are all affectionately known on farm as "The Odd Bunch"

ADOPT YOUR OWN PET LAMBS OR SHEEP

Each year some of our orphaned and rescued lambs need to find their forever homes where they can be lawn mowers not meat! 

You can of course choose to breed down from them if you wish to produce your own meat but we request that any of our adopted pet sheep and lambs be kept as beloved pets as they are super friendly and deserve a nice life with human interaction.

BUT CAN'T HAVE YOUR OWN ?

We found so many people love farm animals but simply don't have the time or space to have your own., so we created the Odd Bunch sponsorship program for families, friends and fans of CountryGirlCo. 

A UNIQUE GIFT IDEA

Sponsoring a farm animal is a great and unique gift or present for all ages; simply choose your favourite farm animal you wish to sponsor

WHAT YOU RECEIVE AS A SPONSOR

Sponsors receive a special sponsor gift pack, containing information all about your chosen animal(s), photographs and our farm mystery items. You also receive regular updates on the Odd Bunch and your sponsored animal. PLUS as a sponsor you will be invited to our Private Farm Open Days up to 4 times per year, so you, your family and friends can come visit your sponsored animal, enjoy time on the farm, take a farm tour, learn about farm life, feed the animals, relax, unwind and reconnect with nature.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS : 

SHEEP HERDING SESSIONS

Come for an hour or come for a day! 

We hold sheep herding sessions for you and your working dog to come and try out sheep herding or practice to refine your skills.

Come just for fun, to learn some seriously cool skills or get in some practice time.

Sessions are minimum 1 hour charged by the hour or package deals are available. 

One on one or group sessions available

Suitable for first timers or experienced dogs and handlers that simply want practice time!

BASIC & ADVANCED CLINICS 

We host 1-2 day working dog clinics/schools featuring celebrity/guest trainers so you can get the most out of your time here, learn new skills and methodologies from the experts to then take home and practice or come back and practice here at our herding sessions.

WORKING DOGS IN SURBURBIA 

INSTINCT WORKSHOP

This school is designed for anyone who has a working dog(s) in surburbia, 

Give your dog an opportunity to do what they were instinctively and naturally bred to do in a safe and controlled environment. and how this gives them purpose and meaning in their lives as well as enrichment. 

Give yourself an opportunity to learn about your dogs instinct, drive and presence (what your dog is thinking, and doing and why they do it) . 

Go away with new skills and tools to use when you're out and about with your beloved working dog or to practice at our herding sessions next time you are here! 

Lastly, discover how this is all relatable out in the real world, how this can assist in decreasing/alleviating unwanted/undesirable behaviours such as barking, digging, herding at the beach, biting, stress and anxiety.
